Have you ever wanted to try racing?

Come learn with us! Hagens Berman Racing is hosting a free beginner clinic for WTNB riders to practice safe racing skills, then a short, friendly race where you get to try it. No experience needed, no fancy bike needed.

Bring a friend, bring the bike you already own, and let's go ride in circles together.

6:00 PM — free w/ race reg

WTNB Beginner Race Clinic

Free to attend with race registration. We want to keep everyone safe! We’ll work on riding and staying safe in a group, holding a wheel, cornering, and race etiquette.

Led by Craig Undem, founder of Cycle University (2013-19), a bicycle skills and training company. He will share his best racing tips from 40 years of racing and coaching riders of all skill levels.

The course

Two flat miles, no cars

Pacific Raceways is a closed motorsport circuit in Kent which is rented exclusively for bicycle racing on Tuesday nights. The loop is wide open, the pavement is smooth, and every corner is a fun long sweep. Nothing technical, nothing to catch you out — one of the safest places in Washington to try racing for the first time.
