OUR TEAM

We’d love to have you. This is a social, no-drop ride around the south end of Lake Washington + an optional lap of Mercer Island to stretch your legs. This is open to riders of all ages and all abilities.

We are actively recruiting for our growing women’s squad, as well as our development (new racer) squad. But whether you’re lining up for your first race or you’ve been around awhile, there is a place for you here.

Hagens Berman Racing Seattle is an amateur cycling race team competing in road, gravel, cyclocross, track, and mountain bike races throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our team has been established for over 20 years, and our alumni include riders who have gone on to race professionally. We seek to develop riders of all ages and abilities to race successfully while maintaining healthy balance with other aspects of life.

The ride

A social lap around the south end of Lake Washington.

Meet at the Leschi Starbucks, 121 Lakeside Ave S. Grab a coffee and say hello. We will go over the route before we leave.

Roll out at a social, no-drop pace. The South Lake loop is 24 miles. Adding the Mercer Island lap makes it 33 miles.

Back to Leschi.

Food

Hang out with us at Hap’s Burgers at the end of the Mercer lap for great burgers, fries, and shakes.

The Mercer Island Hot Lap

Riders who want more can continue for a lap of Mercer Island at race pace. Hang on as long as you are able - we regroup at the west end of the island at the lid. There is no obligation to join, and there will also be a group taking Mercer at a social pace.
